landman
Back in '75 I worked on a project in the Sahara. We kept seeing those all the time. If I remember well they were badged Kenworth. They seem to have a veed grille. Would that be anything close to AITM's Kenwort C500 or are they something else altogether?
6-handicap
These trucks were either a 984 (6X4) or 953 (6X6). Dual core "V' radiator with a total of 2,100 square inches of frontal area. Steel cab. and standard NTC-335 engine. I have a bit more info if you need. Bryan
landman
Thank you Bryan.Looked them up. I guess that would have to be scratchbuilt.
Fabrux
Man oh man oilfield trucks are monsters! I can't even begin to comprehend what the workload of these things would be. All of my oil extraction experience has been with offshore stuff; I've never seen land-based extraction setups, other than driving by pump-jacks on the highway between Regina and Estevan.
