John Goschke Posted March 30, 2008 Posted March 30, 2008 Thanks to Dave Burket for entrusting to me the box art and decal design for this project. Thanks also to Tom Miller for the excellent photos of his beautiful build of the test shot which served as the basis for the design.
1320wayne Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Definately! I had one of these many years ago and have always wanted another. Many thanks to Model King for another great subject.
RJWood Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Seen it on Model express web site tonight. You can pre-order it. August is too long to wait. Lots of good stuff comming at the end of summer. Gotta start saving for the Fall.
Fuel Coupe Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 very simple but but one of the most elusive ones out there. I'm so glad to see this one coming back....
Darrell Gwinn Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 My dad has one of the originals from when he was younger, those slicks look bigger than the ones on the original, but maybe its just me...
johnII Posted March 31, 2008 Posted March 31, 2008 Nice work on the box art. Can't wait for this one to come out.
Fleetside Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Another one from Model King to add to the "Must Have" list.
Modelmartin Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Yay! Now I can toss out that Ebay purchased gluebomb I was thinking of restoring. Or maybe make that one into the Snake version. Andy
1320wayne Posted April 5, 2008 Posted April 5, 2008 Here's a picture of the real deal. With this kit and a Hot Wheels decal for each side you can replicate the true car easily.
MrHernandez81 Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 I remember about 10 years ago i had the snake vs mongoose kit, only thing i have left of it is one of the chassis and an extra pair of slicks with halibrands and a straight axle that i just now put on a 55 chevy
