I got back into model cars last year, although I had been building up a collection of kits over the last few years.  Mostly into muscle cars, especially Mustangs & El Caminos, as I own 1:1 '67 Mustang 'vert & '85 El Camino.  Yeah I know Ford & Chevy.

The black Elky is meant to be a replica of my real one.  But I left on the dash of my car during a car show and the plastic got warped.  Once I finish the real one, I'll build another kit to match it.

And the Miata is in there cuz I work for Mazda.

Obviously I'm no where near as skilled as some of you, but I keep picking up tricks with each build20160223_183809.thumb.jpg.3dc51ae5c8a833

they look fine. You are in the right place to pick up tips and tricks. The people here are awesome.

I like that '65 El Camino.

Some nice work!  I always liked the late 70's mid 80's Elky's (1:1)

Welcome aboard!  You can diffidently learn some new skills here!   and sometimes even ponder throwing away all you rmodel's cause you like "mine will never look like"....and they make it look so simple!  But it's all about having fun and build/collecting all the stuff you wish you could have as the 1:1 if you had the money and space!
