mrm Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 HI guys. Been a long time since I posted something on here, but I had a rather hectic few months. What I am working on now are two Ferrari F1 models in 1/20 scale. The 312t will be Niki Lauda's car with which he won the Brazilian race in 1976. The 312t3 is going to be the Villeneuve car with which he debuted his Ferrari career. As usual, I am starting with the bodies, so I can get them painted and put them aside to cure while I am working on the rest.
GTJUNIOR Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 My favourite era of F1, and my favourite F1 team. Lauda, Villeneuve and Sheckter were my idols growing up. I will definitely be checking out this thread. Good luck with your new project.
mrm Posted March 4, 2016 Author Posted March 4, 2016 Both of these are primered, but that showed me some areas I need to address a little better. I am going to post up the build of the two models side by side, because it is interesting to see the different approaches Tamiya and Hasegawa took on two very, very similar models.
