Question about fujimi shelby cobra 427 kit

Hey 

I soon want to start building this kit, and after reading the instructions for  general review and sorting  body parts for painting, i saw that although it cames with separate Trunk and hood, the hinges is not 'workable' its doesn't have option for a movement , am i right? What the point of that? There is option to make them work? (at least the bonnet...i don't care about the trunk)

I have all 5 versions of those kits but never built one. I pulled one out and it appears you are correct. It looks like partial hinges are there in case you want to pose the model with the hood and truck open. Should not be too hard to fashion a hinge system for them. Should be some good info in the builders question section.
