Nice model. I see you have the same problem I have, getting the plug wires to drape the way they would on a real car.

As a contest judge, the wires do present an issue but not so much from drape.  If you google drag engines of the era, you will see two things.  Most of the wires coming out of the distributor/magneto have a right angle or elbow style boot and the boots at the spark plug end almost never extend much beyond the valve covers.  These two issues give what my friend Drew Hierwarter use to call the tarantula look.  Plug wires generally lay close to the engine.  There are exceptions but for the most part this is the way they are wired.

You have a very nice model here.  The paint and metal work are both outstanding!

That truly is a beauty , Marcelo ! I remember when the original was released ; it was during the summer of 1988 . I recall that so well , as a friend was reluctant to buy it as it had the Revell name attached to it ! Ha ha ha ! Both of us survived the 'Dark Ages' of Revell (e.g. , the 1970's) and were both extremely cynical about anything with the Revell name attached to it . Upon further review by yours truly , I was able to ascertain its Monogram heritage ( i.e. , its chassis had its roots in the early 80's Monogram Pro Stock series ) , but with a 1987-1988 Thunderbird body .

He still wasn't convinced .

I bought one and built a beautiful replica out of it ! My friend was miffed ; nowe he wanted one ! Ha ha ha !

But , I digress ...

Your workmanship is splendid ! Keep those awesome builds coming !
