RAT-T Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 HI GUYS, I WAS WONDERING WHICH KIT HAS THE BEST DETAILED VERSION OF THIS WHEEL? I'M NOT SURE IF IT'S A '40 FORD, OR '40 LINCOLN. OR ARE THEY ONE IN THE SAME? THANKS
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Most '40-'48 Ford, Merc and Lincoln wheels look a lot alike other than the clips or bumps that hold the hubcaps on. If you're going to run center caps, nobody will ever know the difference. I think the Revell '40 Ford stock wheels are about the best, and they have nice center detail if you want to use them without hubcaps.
RAT-T Posted March 27, 2016 Author Posted March 27, 2016 THANKS GUYS, I THINK I HAVE THE REVELL '40 KIT
Lownslow Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 iThink im going to base my 18" steelie on that it looks cool
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 iThink im going to base my 18" steelie on that it looks cool I'd buy a bunch of those. Nice to be able to put modern rubber under a traditional car and kinda keep the look...
Lownslow Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 I made a Detroit steel wheel but after some deep thought i went off and made my own steelie
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 Good looking wheel. That could really make a semi-traditional hot-rod something special.
