Mike Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 This was a Christmas present from my wife and kids. She does a great job of finding interesting subjects that I normally wouldn't buy for myself. It's a short-track racer built box stock. It's my first experience with a kit like this, so the roll cage and a couple other things were learning experiences. It was a fun, quick, build to get me out of a rut.
RodneyBad Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 (edited) For being your first experience in Short track It came out quite well. Really, a nice job. (like I know anything about short Track( ) job, Well done. Another Family encouragement done well........... Edited April 7, 2008 by Zukiholic
randx0 Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 nice work looks like it was fun to build. now how about a traler and tow vehicle to haul it or another modified to race it
kasteer Posted April 7, 2008 Posted April 7, 2008 Looks great! Looks like you really knew what you were doing (being your first short track racer). Me like!
Mike Posted April 7, 2008 Author Posted April 7, 2008 (edited) That's a good looking build! Love the color combo! I've been thinking about building a few of those, how did the kit go together? Can your wife talk to my wife? This kit went together well for the most part. The main fit issues I had were with the roll cage and the headers were an absolute mess. I also had to trim the driver's bucket to accomodate the narrow front of the body shell. I can have my wife talk to your wife. Also, love the avatar featuring "DUEL". Edited April 7, 2008 by Mike
Mike Posted April 7, 2008 Author Posted April 7, 2008 Nice build,it only needs one thing;;;;;;DIRT;;;;;; That's on the "to do" list. I may build a base for it too, but undecided as of yet. I have to do a bit of research on these cars as well. THANK YOU for the comments guys.
