ICM in 1:24 scale

A while back I thought I heard a rumor that ICM was considering moving the Packard kit and the Mercedes 770 up to 1:24 scale.  Can anyone out there either confirm or refute this rumor?

So far, only a rumor.  ICM's next 1/24 scale model car kit is a 1914 Model T Ford Chemical Car (Model T Ford runabout carrying a massive soda-acid fire extinguishing system.
