I am hoping that someone out there can help me out.  I am looking for a carbon fiber display base for an upcoming project.  I have seen several of them at contests, usually with a Formula 1 car on them.  I have Googled it, but am not getting anything useful.  I see carbon fiber display bases included when you buy some of the more expensive exotic or race car diecast models.  I need it to display a 1:12 Formula 1 car.  Any help sure would be appreciated!

Perhaps you could get some tape or material that looks like carbon fiber and apply it to a wooden base.

Thank you, Raymond!  I have seen the vinyl wrap in my searches.  I have a feeling that is the way I'm going to have to go.  I doesn't look too expensive.
