Nacho Z Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 (edited) I am hoping that someone out there can help me out. I am looking for a carbon fiber display base for an upcoming project. I have seen several of them at contests, usually with a Formula 1 car on them. I have Googled it, but am not getting anything useful. I see carbon fiber display bases included when you buy some of the more expensive exotic or race car diecast models. I need it to display a 1:12 Formula 1 car. Any help sure would be appreciated! BigTallDad Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 Perhaps you could get some tape or material that looks like carbon fiber and apply it to a wooden base.http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=carbon+fiber+tape&tag=geminimobiles-20&index=aps&hvadid=30273524092&hvqmt=p&hvbmt=p&hvdev=c&ref=pd_sl_61il4obi09_p

I have seen the vinyl wrap in my searches. I have a feeling that is the way I'm going to have to go. I doesn't look too expensive.
