Hi everyone, my name is George I live in Queens NY Ive been a car guy since I was a kid, as far back as I can remember I loved cars, muscle cars, classic caddies, SUVs and pick up trucks. I knew all the neighbors cars. I could sit at the window and tell you the make, model and year of the cars on the block. As an adult I still have a love for cars. Can't afford the real thing (have you watched Mecum or Barrett Jackson?) nor do I have the garage space. So I figure why not build a replica?  I use to build models with my dad as a young child and I want to start again. I hope to learn tips and tricks from those of you who been doing it for a while.

Welcome George,  there is a lot of knowledge, skill, and inspiration on this forum.  I know it has vastly improved my learning curve and skills since getting back into the hobby myself.

Welcome George, just enjoy our plastic workplace. You can own all of your favourite Car, Pick up Truck just the way you would have chosen it if you had been at the dealer with a fist full of $$$$$ mind you once you get started the enjoyment of making "your car" will only make you want more. So enjoy the hobby and all the help you can gat on this wonderful site, we are all here to help each other and our Hobby to thrive.

Rgds,

Foggy 2.
