Roadrunner Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 (edited) I’m putting together a list of all of the Revell kits that were packaged under the “Revell Muscle” series. So far I have: ’69 Dodge Charger R/T ’06 Shelby GT-H ’71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda (Red) ’71 Plymouth Hemi Cuda (Purple) ’67 Dodge Charger 426 Hemi ’68 Mustang GT ’70 Ford Torino Cobra ’69 Chevy Nova COPO ’72 Olds Custom Supreme ’69 Ford Torino Talladega ’78 Pontiac Firebird ’70 Buick GSX ’66 Pontiac GTO ’69 Dodge Super Bee Shelby Series 1 '68 Pontiac Firebird 400 Ram Air '67 Chevy Chevelle Pro Street '69 Pontiac GTO Judge '64 Pontiac GTO '71 Plymouth GTX '06 Ford Mustang GT '06 Dodge Magnum SRT8 '69 Dodge Charger Daytona '96 Ford Mustang Saleen S281 '67 Plymouth Hemi GTX Are there others that need to be added? I'm not necessarily thinking I'll collect all of these, but it's tempting. Right now the '67 and '69 Chargers are at the top of my "to get" list. List above has now been amended to reflect known boxings. Cover below illustrates the specific series I seek information on, and is typical of the series. Edited June 25, 2016 by Roadrunner
highway Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Here's a few to add from a quick ebay search under "Revell Muscle" in models and kits:87 Buick Grand National69 Chevy Camaro ZL-166 Chevy Chevelle station wagon70 Ford Mustang Boss 42968 Pontiac Firebird 400 Ram Air66 Ford Mustang GT-350H65 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback69 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 convertible 69 Chevy Camaro Z-2869 Chevy Camaro Z-28 RS67 Chevy Chevelle Pro Street69 Pontiac GTO Judge65 Chevy Chevelle SS396 Z-1664 Pontiac GTO 71 Plymouth GTX69 Chevy Camaro Yenko SC 42769 Chevy Camaro SS/RS convertible64 1/2 Ford Mustang convertible2013 Ford Mustang Boss 3022006 Ford Mustang GT91 Pontiac Firebird 98 Pontiac Firebird (Trans AM) Ram Air2006 Dodge Magnum SRT870 Ford Mustang Boss 30269 Dodge Charger Daytona69 Ford Mustang Shelby GT5002002 Chevy Camaro67 Chevy Camaro "Nickey" RS/SS 427That is just in the 5 pages of the results that came up under that search that showed box art that had either "Motor City Muscle" or "Revell Muscle" printed on the box.
Roadrunner Posted May 18, 2016 Author Posted May 18, 2016 Interesting, thanks. I'll have to sort out which are the Revell Muscle versions, as those are the ones that interest me at the moment. It's also odd, but when I Googled Revell Muscle myself, the list above (mine) is about all that I saw.
Roadrunner Posted May 19, 2016 Author Posted May 19, 2016 I'm pretty sure the 70 Chevelle also.vinceI found it in the StreetBurners series, but not the Revell Muscle series.
Roadrunner Posted May 19, 2016 Author Posted May 19, 2016 Eight of the names provided above by Matt were from the Revell Muscle series, the rest being all Motor City Muscle, StreetBurners or Revell Muscle, but without the pistons. There was even one Monogram Muscle that I stumbled across. I'll amend my own list shortly.
Fabrux Posted May 19, 2016 Posted May 19, 2016 For Monogram Muscle I have an '87 Buick Grand National. In addition to the abovementioned Revell Muscle kits, I also have a '66 Pontiac GTO and a '96 Ford Mustang Saleen S281.

Roadrunner Posted June 19, 2016 Author Posted June 19, 2016 I just went to add the '67 Hemi Charger to the list, but discovered it's already there, entered by me in fact. Oops!
Roadrunner Posted June 25, 2016 Author Posted June 25, 2016 OK, thanks to the "what did you get today" thread, I've now added the '67 Plymouth Hemi GTX to the list, that I had previously been unaware of.
