JUNK-MAN Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 No, pics yet. I painted it today but the rattle can job didn't turn out sooo, when I can get to the local dollar store, I'm going to get a couple bottles of DOT-3 and a plastic tote and see how that paint stripping technique works for me, How does it work for you guys? Good? Bad? I got 75% of the motor dome but I didn't get pics of it. In all I'm pretty disappointed in the kit for several reasons Here are the bad things first: The exhaust, Suspension and driver shat are molded into the chassis, the front axel goes through the motor and lastly, No radiator hoses!!?? Now the good: decent body and interior detail, nice Mag wheels/ Goodyear tires. I plan to paint it burgundy and put alot of the street rod parts along with trying to find radiator hoses. Thanks, any suggestions welcome!
Sledsel Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 I prefer Purple Power. Less messThat is an old kit dating back to 1964. A little paint work underneath and add some hoses using solid core wire (it keeps its shape when bent) and you will have a good looking kit
