Hi, looking for 1/25 painted magnum 500's with trim rings like used on 69 Camaro in attachment - have any decent ones been done yet? Thx brandon

Pretty much any good Magnum 500s will work. Just paint the spokes Argent instead of leaving them chrome as everyone else did.

'70 Chevelle SS wheels would work for a start.

BTW, I've been trying to track down the validity of these wheels on "1969" Camaros for a while. I have seen at least one factory photo of them on a Camaro with a "1970" license plate on it, so they might have been available on the Camaros built on into the 1970 model year due to the 2G's late introduction. But I can tell you that I NEVER saw a Camaro wearing those wheels "back in the day" including all of the 1970s.

Hey Snake, the Super Sport wheels were only available on the 69 Camaros, with the SS option RPO N66, You are correct, in that they were not available as an option, until late 69. Because of an on going strike, 69 Camaros were made until late November/December of 69, and the 70 Camaro came out in February of 1970.

Cheers,

Lance
