Jon Cole Posted June 17, 2016 Posted June 17, 2016 (edited) How-to Q.... so I have model body all taped up. I've already painted the woody parts, masked that off to paint the majority of the body. But, I got fingerprints, and even some tape residue on one spot. What's the best way to wash & prep for color coat, without saturating it in a sink full of water? Edited June 17, 2016 by Jon Cole

If it doesn't attack your paint it will remove your problem stuff.
slusher Posted June 20, 2016 Posted June 20, 2016 If your cleaning the bare plastic Jon, you can use rubbing alcohol.
Jon Cole Posted June 21, 2016 Author Posted June 21, 2016 This was round 2 (effort, not the brand) Sprayed over my first Tamiya paint. I used Iso alcohol, wiping it dry.Second attempt went great!
935k3 Posted June 21, 2016 Posted June 21, 2016 Be careful, Alcohol will attack Tamiya Paint especially the 91%
