How-to Q.... so I have model body all taped up. I've already painted the woody parts, masked that off to paint the majority of the body. But, I got fingerprints, and even some tape residue on one spot. What's the best way to wash & prep
for color coat, without saturating it in a sink full of water?

Test Isopropyl on an unseen spot. If it doesn't attack your paint it will remove your problem stuff.

This was round 2 (effort, not the brand) Sprayed over my first Tamiya paint. I used Iso alcohol, wiping it dry.
Second attempt went great!
