80's Internet Today!

Is it me or has the speed of the Internet gone back to the days of the screaming modem? I don't have the most modern computer, but even at work with fiber cable and latest computer the net is slow. It's faster than I have at home but one of the reasons is that they have the ability to block streaming vids. It took me almost an hour to post some pics on another site! And they wonder why people don't spend as much time on the web as they used to!
