Decided to try a paper/cardstock model and it is a lot different than a plastic model. Not easy but sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone!    1466484136421_zpscnama5fd.jpg

That is one big "Paper Plane" isn't it! I wonder once done if a coat of Semi Gloss or Satin Clear over the main area and Gloss over the "glass" might enhance the look of the finished kit - Although just finishing it will result i an impressive Plane!

Yes I have been advised it would be wise to clear coat it to protect it from dust and humidity.I think I will do so when completed.

Kind of hard to see what's going on when the model is buried in that mess. How about shooting it on a neutral background without all that clutter?

Yeah maybe on the washer next time! i know that I made several mistakes that I will avoid on future paper builds.Chief among them is adequete support structure for the outer wing sections. The wavy pattern is the result of this oversight  and the fuselage cross section neeeds more bulkheads.. Still it is a valuable learning tool even if the end result is a poor model.Perhaps the instructions being in Polish is an issue too.I do find this build to be fascinating one even if I have a comptomised model. At least I will know what not to do!
