what my question is, what is he switchin up there and how the heck does he shift like that, what RPMs and mph is he doing? that is sick though!

Switches

Looks like he hits the main fuel pump - that's the buzzing, probably a electric waterpump and the ingnition. It looks like he has a burnout setting and pass setting that he is switching - probably for the NOS. Then as he is staging the car he purges the NOS three times. At the very end of the pass I think he's pulling the shut lever(s), and then powers down the car.

I am sure in a car like that depending on a number of things he is probably going through the traps at 7500-9500rpm.

Looks like about a 3000rpm launch.

WOW! stuff sure has changed since I been down the 1/4. Just line up, an when the tree goes green so did we! Yeesh looks like alot of stuff to remember.But then again 14 second times are considered quite slow nowadays!

No guys, that car is mental. I think it would be fun to ride shotgun but dang I might have to change my shorts afterwards. Yeah, the cars and times nowadays are incredible. I was just wondering what all those switches were for and his RPMs through the run
