lugkcorky Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 (edited) This is a 1/20 Toyota pickup I got from a good friend of mine since the 89-94 Toyota pickups are my favorite body style I have always wanted to build a real one. This build is exactly how I would want my real one body dropped on 18s, fully shaved, custom interior, molded tailgate and roll pan, custom interior. I would want it painted the brightest red I could find and grey interior. I would want to put in a sliding rag top aswell for those long summer days of skating down the strip with the music bumping my favorite hams so here goes my scale build of my dream truck I am now 24 hrs into the build and it's taking shape really quick my bed floor is complete and line x sprayed ready to be color matched most of my body work is already done and my tailgate is molded so let's see where this scale minitruck will take me Edited July 5, 2016 by lugkcorky
lugkcorky Posted July 5, 2016 Author Posted July 5, 2016 Got all of the body work done and started on the interior
lugkcorky Posted July 6, 2016 Author Posted July 6, 2016 Thank you I just got the interior finished it turned out alot better than I thought I am falling more in love with this truck every second I'm building it it's nice to see my dream truck come to life even if it is scale
lugkcorky Posted July 6, 2016 Author Posted July 6, 2016 I got my wheels detail painted last night and decided to dip and redo the bed since it's not quite exactly how I want it plus I decided in doing shaved taillights and molding some custom ones into the roll pan and shaving the gas door so hopefully it all goes well also decided to open the grill up for a more realistic look
lugkcorky Posted July 8, 2016 Author Posted July 8, 2016 Ok well got the bed done and the c5vette lights in and the body in paint aswell as the grill and bumper finished so let's see how she turned out next on the list is to buff this torch red out and do all of the black trim hopefully next week it will start taking shape on final assembly
