Frank Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Another one I finished yesterday. This is not an easy kit to put together because of the multi piece body, but with a little effort it turned out ok.
FactoryStock54 Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 Lovely! I had no idea anybody had ever kitted an H-S Alfonso! Truly beautiful car, and nice to see some classic subjects here! Great job!
Harry P. Posted April 21, 2008 Posted April 21, 2008 From the looks of those fenders I'd say that they hadn't yet figured out the concept of "compound curves"???
Frank Posted April 22, 2008 Author Posted April 22, 2008 Thanks for the kind remarks guys. It has inspired me to finish a couple of other I have had at the back of the bench for a while. Namely two Rolls Royces (a roadster and a phaeton) I bought three glue bombs in one box from eBay and after sorting through the mess I managed to get enough good parts to build two.
Frank Posted April 24, 2008 Author Posted April 24, 2008 Who produced that kit? Hi Gregg, it's been done by a number of makers using the same tooling, this one is a Minicraft 1/16 scale.
