fshoemake Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Project I have been working on off and on for a few months. I picked up the sneaky Pete kit in a trade. The cab was very thin plastic and half the passenger door into the windshield molding was completely broken off.So after some repairs and sanding I had to figure something out for it.I had a old Olds model that was missing parts and had always wanted to build a demolition car.The trailer was a freebie from a guy in my local model club.He wasn't happy with it so he gave it to me.Worked perfectly. Hope I put this in the correct fourm.
GrumpyGrowly Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Awesome! Pete looks great and the demo Olds is too cool.
Ben Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 For some reason, during that era of kits, Revell used a plastic that became very brittle over the years! I have quite a few van and pickup kits of that era with lots of broken parts! One of my Sneaky Pete cans broke into about ten pieces!
fshoemake Posted July 31, 2016 Author Posted July 31, 2016 Guess I was lucky I got mine together. I will say parts of it were a challenge
