BigTallDad Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Mighty ambitious! I think I'd rather build the Revell version of the '48 Ford convertible; it's an excellent kit.http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/102575-48-ford-convertible/
Ron Hamilton Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 I like the idea of doing a nice 48 Chevy vs. Ford build. I may have to pick up one of the new Revell '48 Ford kits for such a project.
espo Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 I don't remember every seeing the AMT '48 Ford (red car on the box) before. Was this their tool or from someone else ?

louie Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 Again Greg, Good stuff. I've always wanted to build one of the imc-Testors 48 ford but haven't. On the bucket list. Thanks. Jeff
Mike999 Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 And if you shrunk a '48 Ford, moved the engine to the back, then taught it to speak French...
Edsel-Dan Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 I have a built of that AMT 1/43 kit I built Way back thenand 2 Unbuilt of it too!!I built the Testor's "Fabulous Fords" boxed of the coupe also when New.Hope to some day finish the resto-conversion and make to Police car similar to Revell's new kit(Though finding the period correct San Diego PD decals!!!)I have a Flat box of the coupe And a Convertible to build tooAnd I have the Revell/Momgram Woody Use to have the Pro-Modeler Convertible.
