Blanket style seat covers

Some time ago someone posted pix of a model with the seats covered with either Mexican or Indian style blanket material.This builder said they had found some ribbon that already had that pattern on it and simply cut the size they needed and glued it to the seat.I have looked everywhere(?)in fabric and craft stores with no luck.I have done one with the tape and thread method and am really not all that pleased with the result.If you have some extra to sell or can suggest a source I would certainly appreciate the help.Thanks!!
