dodge5522 Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Looking good gatta ? I never used the micro mesh always use reg sand paper do they work as good ?
wisco8 Posted September 21, 2016 Author Posted September 21, 2016 (edited) Two coats of black urethane applied from Bob's paints each coat is wet sanded. I applied some Tamiya TS-13 clear decanted for use in my airbrush thinned with Tamiya lacquer thinner, then sprayed a few light mist coats and re-wet sanded. Now its ready for a healthy dose of clear coats. After that I will do all the polishing only with wet micro mesh for now. Edited September 23, 2016 by wisco8

wisco8 Posted September 23, 2016 Author Posted September 23, 2016 That is a slick paint job... Smooth.. real smooth.. Thank you Jeremy. Just as I was taking off the Tamiya tape I put a tiny ding in the paint, not too visible but it happens. It seems no matter how careful you are Murphy has his way of getting into the program one way or another!! Best regards, Steve
