Rusty Dubs - Split window panel van & beetle

Finished these two, the first in a long time. Its been a busy year!

 

 I used the salt technique to achieve the weathered paint/rust.

The first is Revell's kit of the T2 panel van, I stil lneed tto add a few little bits and some detailing but its mostly done.

Next is a 1:32 scale beetle from Airfix, which I promptly whacked with the lowering stick. I had to cut the tops of the front wheels of to clear the front fenders lol. More than chuffed with how it came out considering it was a few hours work and its way smaller than what I'm used to, The stance cme out spot on, its just of the deck with a slight rake. I'm tempted to replace the kit window glass as i feel its too thick for the scale, we'll see.

A few littke bits left that will require tweezers and patience!
