george 53 Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 Florian,Just wanted to tell ya how lucky you are to have yer Dad be into old cars.They were SO easy to work on No weird electronic stuff, no fuel injection,no computers an PCM proms!.Your REALLY gonna like it!My Dad taught my how to do SO MUCH on those cars.It's almost like a lost art,cause it's so basic! Be like Ol SpongeBob an absorb all you can,cause it may be old, but it IS the basics of engine mechanics.Oh,BTW, you build some MEAN models too!!!!Good luck!!!

Check it out and look for the 'Old Hermit'. He seems to specialize in straight 6's. I think he only works in 1/8 scale, but he has some awesome builds as well. When we gonna see some truk & trailer pics? I will post pics of the truck and trailer tonight i promisse. It will be in the evening around seven my time sine i have my graduation in 2 hours and after at four my dad is taking me to our local cruise night Tahnks for all your comments and one more thing that i forgot to post on crapns thread, If we keep going like this with us talkin and buildin in the ol school style, maybe gregg might have to open a section just for us Well i dont mind its great anyway.
