I,ve got some testors spray paint-candy apple red and candy hot rod red-they look the same on the can and i'm wondering what the difference is?

Marty, the best and easiest way to check which one you'd prefer on your project, is to shoot some of each on plastic spoons.....that way you can compare each one, and, in buying a cheap bag of such spoons at a dollar store, you have them in stock for testing all your sprays.....just a thought...the Ace...;)...oh, lastly, if the paint you choose is a true candy, you will need to first spray your build with either silver, gold, or copper as base.....

Maybe these pics can help.

The '58 Impala is painted #1605 Candy Apple Red (known as Beatnik Bandit Red in the early days) and the Fiat is #1607 Hot Rod Red (formerly Road Agent Red)
