Resin Funny Car Body

I have a couple of Resin Funny Car Bodies that the sides have spread out. Any suggestions on how to get the sides back in shape?

Hi Len,

Depending on how bad they're warped (and the type of resin they're made from), you have a couple of options. First, you could put the bodies in very warm tap water until the resin has softened slightly and then work the body back into shape. I would then put the body in very cold water to 'set' the body shape. Or, you could cut the sides (if they're straight) and re-glue them (with super glue). I've had some experience with this back in the old days when I used to have my resin business.

Thanks Jim. I will give the warm water treatment to one of them.

These were slush cast so you probably know who (I can't remember) was doing that 15 years or so years ago.
