No promos for 2008 will be done

Hello,

I'm sorry to inform there will be NO promos in 2008. I was inquiring yesterday about the 2008 Indy Pace car but my promo guru/dealer came back today with the bad news after inquiring to the manufacturers. There are however plans to have 2009 promos done, so I still hope to see 2008 Indy Pace cars.

thats a shame. maybe Revell is using the promo tooling money to produce a ZR1 kit. I'd be shocked if Revell does'nt do the ZR1

I was going to say something about this yesterday as that is when I found out. However, I knew that if Ismael said something about it then I would know it was true.

I was kind of surprised myself that they were not going to do any '08's. I was looking forward to the '08 Pace car myself.

Let's hope they do '09's.

No, Chris, it really is a "Do It Yourself". Make a 1:25 scale print of this picture:

...and apply it to the side of this 2007 promo:

The only problem is the driver's side - the lettering is backwards (see mine above). If you can make decals, it is even better.

The green E85 version would be a little more difficult:
