Sydney Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 I posted this earlier today but somehow I posted in the NASCAR section.I'm 74 yrs old and haven't build a car for many, many years. I'm attempting to build a 1967 Olds 442 by Linberg. Wondering if anyone who's built this modelcan give me any tips. I think you guys must be professional as your builds areawesome. BTW, I've notice most of the boxes shows a red 442 but mine shows A teal green. Can anyone tell me why that is? I've probably broken a bunch ofrules. If I have let me know. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.Jim
Casey Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 (edited) Welcome to the forum, James. I haven't ever seen the Lindberg '67 Olds 442 with anything but a red car on the box. As far as I can tell, all the issues of the kit through the years have a red 442 on the box, save for the "Trunk Popper" kit, which I believe was just a body shell with a toy-like motion chassis mounted underneath: Edited November 20, 2016 by Casey
Sydney Posted November 22, 2016 Author Posted November 22, 2016 Thank you Casey. When I purchased this model I also purchased another one. Maybe I've confused the 2 in my mind. Will check and let you know.
