Mike Chernecki Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 I have a couple projects that I want to do lace painted panels. Does anyone know where I can get lace that would be in scale?
Olle F Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 I'm looking for that too. I haven't checked yet, but a possible source would be the doll house section at Hobby Lobby.
novadose71 Posted May 10, 2008 Posted May 10, 2008 I got some at the fabric store a few years ago, haven't used it yet though, seems like the rolls of narrow(2-4 inches wide) lace had smaller patterns. You might also check dollhouse stuff, and wedding supplies.
RichCostello Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Try checking out a restaurant supply store. They have little paper lace doilies that come in different shapes and sizes and are very thin. They are used under dessert dishes and on bread plates ,etc.in nice restaurants.I haven't tried it myself but I bet they'd work great.
