This was an ambitious project! I was looking to do a 40th Anniversary Impala! The only kit at the time was a Snap kit. When I painted it a beautiful Anniversary Gold...I started noting that it was starting to crack. Over time, it was flaking off. The snap kit had a coating that I should have taken off. I only sanded it, which probably only aggravated the situation. You might note that the mirrors are off the door, console is converted to a floor shift and take note of the gauges....the finest work I had ever done. Today...blind as a bat!
