disabled modeler Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Dan buddy...yes there rare kits/models and fetch a high price tag. There awesome kits...the little U-haul trailer is a sweet bonus too. I have a 68 and 69 from my dads old stuff I have to restore. Very nice thought of you by the way...not many would think of going that far these day for a friend.
gtx6970 Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Really depends on actual condition. If its absolutely dead mint perfect it MIGHT bring $400 to the right person . If that's the actual kit in question its not flawless, ( shows box wear ) And will not bring that. Based on that,,, if its sealed inside with no signs of issues $350-375 tops .Open inside $300 - 325 MAYBE $350 to the right person but I doubt it ,,,all this is based if its perfect inside with inspection ANY issues inside what so ever, such as - damaged or missing decals, broken windshield frame ( common issue btw ) missing parts and its well below $300 . These are tough to find,,,but not near as hard to come up with as the 68 Coronet hardtop is. If it matters a nice builtup can be had for the $75 to $100 range without to much difficulty,,you just have to be patient to find a really nice one that isnt all modified or cut on. I just picked up a really nice very builtup for about $85 a few months ago off ebay There is one on ebay right now I am keeping an eye one that has a BIN of $265 ( missing the hood ) At that price if everything else is perfect its not to hate full ( hoods can be found without a ton of effort but plan to spend in the $20 range to find one ) So you would be all in the car for about $300 . I have an extra hood alreadyhttp://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-ORIGINAL-MPC-1-25-SCALE-1968-DODGE-CORONET-CONVERTIBLE-/122273987129?hash=item1c7818fa39:g:NlgAAOSw-0xYPIsN
