65 Chevelle

Always liked the 64-65 Malibu even though I'm not a Chevy guy really. This is the second model since I came back to the hobby. The first was the 25 T 3 in 1 kit. I never built that kit as a kid but if I did I would have had trouble with the hot rod version front end. I had trouble with it and when I finally got it done I dropped the model and broke the wheel off the axle so I had to find another.I made it like a salt flat racer. I gave myself a D on that one.

So far the Malibu is going together nice.I replaced the kit coil springs with springs from a ball point pen.

Nice home built rear coil springs. I like Malibu's so I'll keep an eye on this build.
