Yohan Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 (edited) Hello, i was wondering what do you do about plastic trim or plastic in general, when stripping paint from die-cast model cars. Cause I wanted to buy this greenlight dodge challenger strip and repaint it. But I bet all the chrome trim on it is plastic, and I don't know how to go about stripping it without damaging it. Any help is much appreciated. Edited January 10, 2017 by Yohan
Mark Posted January 10, 2017 Posted January 10, 2017 You've got to disassemble it. The stuff that removes paint from metal will annihilate the plastic parts, and anything that won't wreck the plating on the plastic parts won't touch the metal.
