Does anyone have a color picture or know what color Arlen Vanke's 62 Pontiac was?

I am sorry I did not make it clear I am looking for the 2 door HT car that he ran S/S. That was a red car but I have seen an article that said it was bright red, someone in another article said it was Mandalay red.

Is this the one? It would be Mandalay Red same code as  Chevy Roman Red, the only solid red for 1962, the other red is a metallic being Honduras Maroon(Chevy) / Garnet Mist(Pontiac).

Yes that is the color I am going to use I think it would have beed a factory color and that is the only red on the chart. I remember my neighbor bought a 62 Grand Prix brand new and it was bright red and that color is not even on the chart so it must have been a special order. I was only 11 years old in 62 but I remember that car well. Thanks for your help. Elvin

I own a 1962 Nova convertible black on red. Parts of the interior are painted Roman Red (Mandalay Red) and yes it is a bright red as in the picture.

No I had a Roman red 63 Chevy and it is not the same color as the Mandalay red.

Hmm, odd as they are the exact same paint code along with olds Tampico red and Buick Cardinal red

You are right Mike but I just did not think Arlen Vanke's car was that color, maybe so.
