Clay Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 does anyone know where I can buy ford flathead headers, 3 carb intake, stromberg 97 carbs, and some air cleaners. Are these after market parts? If not I have a flathead motor from the 34 Ford kit
oldskoolmini Posted May 25, 2008 Author Posted May 25, 2008 I would like aftermarket parts. And cheap too.
fatherdevine Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 The best place to get quality aftermarket parts is a company called replicas and miniatures of maryland. They do not have a website, but I am sure that some one here can give you the fotki address so that you can see some of the parts that they offer. You can google the company for contact info to request a catalog.
Bernard Kron Posted May 25, 2008 Posted May 25, 2008 (edited) Replicas & Miniatures Company of Maryland is most likely your single best source for flathead parts of all flavors. Beautifully, made too. They have everything from complete engines to the smallest detail parts from the 30’s, 40’s and 50’s and all kinds of hop up parts including a finely cast S.C.o.T blower setup. Check this thread out under Tips, Tricks and Ideas: http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=12063 Here's all the contact information in one convenient spot: Replicas & Miniatures Company of Maryland 317 Roosevelt Ave., S.W Glen Burnie, MD 21061 Catalog: $4.00 Tel: 01-410-768-3648 Hours: 9am-5PM EST Mon.-Fri. Early Years has great prices and some very cool and unique vintage parts. Definitely an important source.
oldskoolmini Posted May 26, 2008 Author Posted May 26, 2008 The motor is from the AMT 53 ford modified stocker hauler truck.untitledtow.bmp
