bandit1 Posted April 12, 2017 Author Posted April 12, 2017 Use Chevy Engine Red. That's what RCR used. So they actually use Chevy Red? GREAT... I already have that color...
Brett Barrow Posted April 12, 2017 Posted April 12, 2017 Yup. They're definitely an orangey-red Later on in the 90's they switched to gray like everybody else.
bandit1 Posted April 13, 2017 Author Posted April 13, 2017 Update Via Youtube video: Sad the last video deleted itself or something
horsepower Posted April 20, 2017 Posted April 20, 2017 Yup. They're definitely an orangey-red Later on in the 90's they switched to gray like everybody else. They used the gray interiors on the restrictor plate cars only. All other car were still the red, on Dales cars anyway.
mikemopar70 Posted May 22, 2017 Posted May 22, 2017 to my knowledge the correct color is chevy engine orange, testors is offring it in enamel as ell as acrylic...
NautyRcon Posted March 19, 2024 Posted March 19, 2024 The correct paint color code is a GM Number WA7753 It is their orange/red blend that is the exact color match for the GM Goodwrench #3 Frame and Interior
Brandon Miller Posted March 23, 2024 Posted March 23, 2024 RCR Dale Sr chassis were actually painted Ford Poppy Red. This has been documented by Dale Jr and Childress.

RC has talked about it as well. https://twitter.com/DaleJr/status/1290731266183245828?t=zyXWEeVJ2d4cha_xLQCc8Q&s=19
