I built this recently for my wife, as it's her favorite muscle car. The color is the closest thing I could get to Liberty Blue, from the Duplicolor rack at Pep Boys, without having a 1:1 to compare it to in person. I think it's pretty close. I know it's missing the spoiler, but my wife doesn't like them as a general rule so it was left off at her request. This is the Revell re-issue of the old Monogram kit, it's rather basic, but it goes together real well. The kit decals are NOT the correct three color stripes, but again it was my wifes call, I was gonna get the nice ones from Kieth Marks. It's box stock aside from spark plug wires and an Acme license plate that reads OMY69.

Not BAAAAAAAAAAAD @ all :D:D . I love them old GOATS. Very well done. Ive got one sitting on my to do shelf, just waiting on the right shade of green. I hadn't thought of liberty blue till now.........

Ledsled, here's the best GTO ref site, I've seen. http://www.ultimategto.com/ I wanted to do a darker color that wasn't black so that more of the model would stand out aside from the bright orange /red / yellow that everytone seems to constantly paint these. The 69 was available in three colors of green, of which (IMO) only limelight green is very good looking. http://ultimategto.com/69colors.html. I look forward to seeing your GTO.
