Favorite build time

I'm a sports nut. Some sports are great on TV and some are great on radio. To me, baseball is one of them which is great on radio.

My most enjoyable time on any given day, or night, is working on one of my projects while listening to a Giants game. If my team wins, I can really screw something up on my build and not care that much. Tomorrow will be another game and rework time.

I enjoy building models most when I'm extremely busy with "real work" and find an hour or two to relax at the bench.

Not so much fun when it's just a way to kill time.

My time comes after I'm done with the yard/house work and helping get the kids to bed. Usually I take a couple hours in the evening to "decompress", as my wife puts it, and it's me, the bench, my paints, an airbrush, and silence.

in the evening after everything else is done and has gone to bed. A little light music and I am good for a couple hours. On the weekends it depends on what else is going on.

My wife works swing several times a week, and every other week my kids are at their mom's, so...

best time for me is the nights when kids are gone and wifey's at work.

then i'll turn on my pre-programmed yahoo music station, on my laptop, which is usually right in front of me when im building, that way i can browse the various modeling forums, listen to some tunes, and build away.....

I find it works really well at tuning out the world....
