Don't think I've ever seen or heard of such. Real JoHans--both unbuilt and restorable glue bombs--are still fairly plentiful and not really much if any more than you'd have in a resin body and a donor kit. Just last year I scored a nicely restorable one--and an original annual, no less, not a reissue--for $15. So they're not exactly made of Unobtainium.

Also it's not hard to do one from an AMT 69 GTX kit, Harts Parts Resin makes the stuff you need. The side molding is easily removed but the deck lit takes a bit of work. I still think the Jo Han body looks best tho.

Oh it definitely does. I was just saying that for the whipout you'd have in a resin body and shipping, PLUS a new donor AMT Road Runner or GTX (and possibly shipping on that), you could almost certainly score a nice restorable JoHan off eBay--possibly even an unbuilt reissue kit.

BTW, here's the original JoHan I scored for $15 last fall. Being a Glue Bomb Savior, I can make it work.

Modelhaus did one..had a.440/6pack hood option and a corrected interior too.

But they are no longer being made.......:(
