Fordboy1975 Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 I'm trying to find a 1967 Ford 352 engine for a build I'm doing, it's on my grandpas 1967 Ford F-100 longbed, I have some photos of it, and he told me it had a 352, as far as I know there is no kit or resin kit with this engine.
mk11 Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Lane, the 352 is one of the Ford FE engine series. All of these 352, 406, 427 and 428 are externally identical in scale except for intake and exhaust manifolds and sometimes valve covers.. The easiest source for you would probably be the moebius/amt truck 390. You'll have to probably make your own stock air cleaner unless you choose to use a custom chrome one. Chrome valve covers wouldn't necessarily be wrong for it either. mike
1930fordpickup Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Mike beat me to posting. LOL https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_FE_engineEven if you do not have another truck kit there are other options.
1930fordpickup Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 The 60 StarLiner has a 352 in it. Automatic trans. The 2 in 1 kit has 2 engines in it. Good luck in your quest, Dad had a light blue 67 with a 352 when I was a kid. Never drove it outside of the yard while it was under power. I was towed from the house to the field with a chain because I was not old enough to drive but we had to get back after taking the tractor to the field. LOL
