sdrodder Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Realy stupid idea that came to me over dinner. I have revells hemi hydro boat combo with truck and trailer. Now i need the trailer for something else but what if i converted the boat into a gasser . It already has a hemi. So what i am thinking is putting the hemi up front with a driveshaft, using the amt willys rear axels in it and a straight axel up front. I would take me a while to do that but what do you think of the idea Any ideas comments welcome.
Modellpularn Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 (edited) Well, I know that a guy in England has built a boat for road use, and I think it's a threewheeler as well..... Andy Saunders, check the link to his boat: http://andysaunderskustoms.freeservers.com...0runaground.htm Edited June 8, 2008 by Modellpularn
Jello Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 Sounds like a COOL idea! I got a couple of those kits myself. One question here, are you trying to go for a caricature look or a more serious look? Two rear slicks & one front bike tire? Keep us in the know! ~ Jeff
abedooley Posted June 8, 2008 Posted June 8, 2008 If I remember right, Monster Garage did a boat drag car and "I" think it looked alright. I bet you could find it really easy with the web and get some good ideas from it. ABE DOOLEY

sdrodder Posted June 8, 2008 Author Posted June 8, 2008 well right now i have to finish my gasser team but when i finish these i will start. I will put the hemi up front, add a straight axel up front, some axel for the rear, roll cage that u see only partialy, i will paint it but with silver as the base and some paint flake of so it looks like a metal boat Well thanks for the encouragement. Any more comments. Oh and i will not run bisycle tires up front.
