samdiego Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 Thanks, Greg. As I reread my post it seemed a bit showboaty. Not my intention, I just got excited that you referenced the PPE. Love that car and that style.

samdiego Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 (edited) The wallpaper on my PC I also have a black and white poster of the PPE parked in front of a place called the Doll Hut. $5 swap meet find. And a scan of what ran in R&C. This was a really quick build meant to irritate the letter writers that hated this car. Edited July 2, 2017 by samdiego
Carmak Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 The shown on the box lid was at the Des Moines, IA Good Guys car show this weekend.

Don't know about the PPE, but was the place Linda's Doll Hut in Anaheim right off the BNSF tracks and Broadway? Was the name of the first Pontiac Brothers album also with a good picture of the place before Linda took it over. Lived within stumbling distance of the place for years. Just looked it up, since I figured it probably wasn't the Nickey Chevrolet 59 Corvette that was SCCA champion. Not my kind of "car". Edited July 15, 2017 by waynehulsey more info
