Guest Gramps-xrds Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 That's one nice lookin salt racer Clay. Keep at it and it'll end up done and you'll have to start another one.
Jello Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 That looks pretty good! Is there any speed secrets stashing bumpers in the interior? You must really love them 'Studes! They are nice kits even for todays standards. Great job! I have seen that trailer somewhere before..I got one just like from the #3 diecast set. Is it metal? ~ Jeff

Actually Raul built the Salt Flat, he never told me it was for me until it was half way done. That looks pretty good! Is there any speed secrets stashing bumpers in the interior? Is it metal? ~ Jeff No, not diecast, its the display case trailer, without the case. wasnt in good condition, and they never go together well for me.
Raul_Perez Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Clay, I'm glad to see that you got all of the loose parts sorted out and put back where they belong. I asked the lady at the post office NOT to write FRAGILE on the box, but she did anyway. From that point on, I knew we were doomed!! Anyway, it looks great sitting on the trailer and with your other Avantis!! It looks "at home" sitting there with your collection of cars!! Later,

Later, Yeah I saw Fragile written on it, oh well, it wasnt as bad as I was expecting. I got to find my case that my F100 came out of and put it in it. But I cant right now, I am on duty. Oh well I brought my 53 Studebaker Starliner and My for Torino to work on while I am here. Don't really plan on sleeping here.
