LUKE'57 Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 I can hear tha Religious Zealots Howling already.......UNICORNS Don't Exist!!!; PICTURE FAKED!!! and then tha Hunt is on for Practioners of MAGIC...... Zealot One says to tha gathering crowd of Zealots, grab some ropes....we gonna do some old-fashioned Puritain Barby-Q's......... SEE, Unicorns DO EXIST.....YeeeeHawww Sorry, but that's a deer, not a horse. But anyone who has had some of that good ol' mountain corn and tell you about seeing WAAAY more than unicorns! LOL
Guest zebm1 Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 (edited) Who said that all unicorns had to be horses...this deer (a ROE deer) lives in tha Land of legends....Italy. Besides Luke, everybody knows thet dem ol' Greeks an Romans waz always stoned outa their gourds on spiked vino. And is thet yu standing up front thar Luke? Follering in tha footsteps of yu'rn Hero, Junior Johnson? Whoops, let me think on this a bit......nope yu'd have ta be one of those Loaders..... Edited June 12, 2008 by zebm1
Jello Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 on the loaders.. I seen that ummm Deer? on the telly last night & thought sumthing wrong with the beer...Poor thing looking at us and wondering his? or her? future...that should get plenty of mention in the 'urch this Sunday! I wonder whats next? Robin Hood perhaps? ~ Jeff
lordairgtar Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 Be nice now. Most of us religious types aren't so worried about unicorns, whether they be deer, horses, or goats. Seen a one horned goat once on a small farm in the western part of Wisconsin. You get riled when folks don't get the history of the Stars And Bars and call us northerners the true traitors, but it's OK for you to make fun of my faith? I thought you were better than that.
Guest zebm1 Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 (edited) Wasn't making fun of anybody's faith...just tha Zealots that seem to think that only they know the Truth and tha rest of us are dumber than bricks. Well let me rephrase that, bricks took some intelligence to make....so I guess I meant dumber than rocks. Edited June 13, 2008 by zebm1

Whoops, let me think on this a bit......nope yu'd have ta be one of those Loaders..... That would be me standing at the door of Roxanna, my '64 before the repaint to white. That's my brother who goes by Gator of several boards and builds a MEAN dirt track model (Jackie Sims Race Car Models). And you ain't gonna believe this, but that's an ex-cop that Gator is handing the "product" to that is one of my best friends and for some reason answers to "Troy".
Guest zebm1 Posted June 13, 2008 Posted June 13, 2008 Well Luke, since I've seen your goods, I'll show you mine... I'm tha Tall, good looking one on tha left...tha shorter one is my younger bro...call him Bearbutt when he reached 300+ pounds...... it was 29F when we took this pic last Nov. up in Waynesville, NC. LUKE'57 Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 Hey Zeb, glad to know the both of you. Good solid mountain folks. I've got some friends in Waynesville if they haven't moved since I been there last. Skip Grasty that ran a garage up there and Wanda and Bud Early. Wanda is Tiny Lund's widow and they, along with Tiny's son, used to run a card shop up there. Fine people all.
Guest zebm1 Posted June 14, 2008 Posted June 14, 2008 (edited) Hey Luke, ever met Steve Davis, tha guy that's in luv with anything British with wheels? He's like a model collector on steroids...collects real world cars and motocycles. Used to be on DJ's Pit Crew/mechanic...Gave ol' Bearbutt a Jaguar XJ for a hobby car. He has a factory built 63 Chubby 409 and a 40 Ford Hauler car....even wid all 3 of us standing on tha back bumper......no sag in tha springs. And sheds full of cars, and more cars and pieces of cars....... Ol' Steve, who is younger than us....is one kool dude, took Bearbutt an' a Blind friend up to tha Blue Ridge Parkway.....put tha blind guy behind tha steering wheel and let him get a real thrill....driving a car!.....rocks made of IRON....... Mountain folks...kool folks In about 5 -10 years I may be moving up that-a-ways, but I hear ya gotta be careful of which County ya move into. Bearbutt waz tellin' me that tha Maggie Valley County Guv'mint iz all half-backs now. Edited June 14, 2008 by zebm1
Guest zebm1 Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 OK, For all of you Doubting Thomases out there......tha proof does exist.....
LUKE'57 Posted June 18, 2008 Posted June 18, 2008 The only Steve Davis I know is a local racer. Great family, shot his daughter's wedding, lettered his race cars and dated his sister for a while, so I guess I can state that with confidence, huh? Can't remember what the county is where Mama's place is but it's just above Chimney Rock State Park on NC74. Not too much guv'mint intervention there though.
