Ok, truck builders, I have a question on trailer suspension and such.... I'm wanting to build a logging truck and trailer. Truck will be an Autocar... Trailer I'm going to try and build one. Thoughts were taking a leaf spring and flipping it so the axles would mount to the ends of the springs and the center of the leaf would mount to a pivot so the rear suspension would be allowed to cantilever like a logging trailer. Am I going about this right or is there a better way? I don't have the funds to buy a kit trailer so this is the way I need to go. I'm basing it off of a Peerless trailer..

If anyone has done this themselves I'd like to see how you did it so I get a better idea of what to do....

Thanks in advance for any and all help/ideas!!!!!

I can get tubing for the main backbone of the trailer and make plates to mount the axle assembly to it...

This isn't a Peerless but it's giving me ideas....
