Did the 1/16 Bandai/Entex Jaguar XJ-S offer "Euro-spec" headlights?

I just bought one for my brother.  It's in the Entex box with a rear 3/4 view for box art. I'm wondering if some other issue offered the oval shaped headlights, rather than the US-spec dual round headlights on each side.

My brother may go factory stock, but he did find a pic of a Koenig XJ-S and he kind of likes that, too. It's his model. I'll help him do whatever he wants with it.

The answer is no, at least for my Entex kit. Smaller scale Revell versions have them.

Eh. It's not so bad. Way back in the day...before internet...I never knew they had different lights back home. I thought the single lights were awkward looking the first time I saw them.
