I grew up in East Hartford, started building models at 8 and was 100% cars in 1958 at tender age of 12. I placed in a few model contests at the hobby shop in Manchester with my customs. Had more friends building there than now up in the Berkshires. We DO have a LHS here still! I do visit the huge Time Machine Hobbies in Manchester when down there.
